(This is a revised version of my other blog post SAVE THE PENGUINS )
So.... at the moment I am reading Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz, basically what I'm using in that book to base my blog about is that in the book, there is a multimillionaire named Nikolei Drevin that wants to build a hotel in space, but in order for the hotel to actually get up past the Earth's atmosphere, an entire ecosystem must be destroyed and all the organisms there will all get killed. There is this group of people called Force Three that want to preserve and save all the ecosystems on Earth and will stop at nothing to prevent the take off. Even if that means kidnapping his son and chopping off his sons finger, killing the stars of Drevin's Soccer team, or just killing Nikolei Drevin.
I do realize that that was a really long retell but anyway to get to the point this book really makes me think about what some people in this world would do to get everything their way. I'm not talking only about saving ecosystems but almost anything in this world. Don't get me wrong I would hate to see all these innocent animals get slaughtered there but i do think that there are other solutions to many problems in this world.
I find it really weird how some people get their way in this world. Babies cry and scream to get something, little kids do almost the same except mostly just the crying part, and then there's these people who will kill or hire people to kill if they lose an argument about something they think is important. Throughout history there are these people who way to far for these things that they want. The assassination of Lincoln, the assassination of Martin Luther Kings Jr. And those are only 2 examples but what these people do is just too unbelievable.
I don't think that there are any higher species in this planet that we call home. And I certainly don't think that to preserve the over populated human race we should destroy this Earth for more generations to come. Personally I think that we are all to greedy and that;s why groups like Forece three are forming. If we did a better job of preserving this Earth and only using what we need, we can save millions of lives from eco-terrorists or the lack of resources that we need to survive.
Getting back to the book this group called Force Three killed hundreds of people just because they were doing their job. Fore example, they shot a receptionist in the head because he wasn't allowed to tell them what hospital room a patient was in. And even when he told them out of fear they still shot him. I say that yes you have to go to some extremities to get something done right and for the right cause but this group didn't realize that while attempting to do something good for the Earth they are just harming more then they are actually trying to save.

I'm sorry for the bottom half of my post there is something wrong with how my computer sets up the font. JUST HIGHLIGHT AGAIN
I just started reading Snakehead by Anthony Horowitz. I have been determined to finish this series of books and throughout this series I have been thinking a lot about heroes. In this series there is a 14 year old spy named Alex who, in every book, saves millions of lives around the world. This doesn't need much of a retell since that is basically all you need to know. But anyway, what exactly are heros? In this fictional world that many of us read about we have super heros with super powers, such as super strength, speed, or the ability to read minds. And then there are these heros in our real life that do so much for this world. We take these heros to be selfless and all good.
But why do we call them heros?I mean what would happen if we did have these all good super heros?Soon the human race would become so used to having these people watch out for them that they would start to rely way to much on them. We would be calling them every 5 minutes to help us open a pickle jar or something crazy like that. We call these people heros because of all the help. but remember, everyone has a dark side. Take alex for example. He saves millions of lives every book, but for what cost? Every book he kills someone, maybe not directly, but he always has something to do with someone else's death. Every hero has a selfish and dark side to them.
But if people actually knew about this whether it was a superhero or just someone on the street, would we still think of them as the kind completely good person that they could possibly be, or would we think twice about giving our lives and hopes to this person.
I know everyone can make mistakes, but it's unacceptable with the high stakes that come with being a "hero'

DO NOT READ THIS IF YOUR GOING TO READ ARK ANGEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I have about 5 more pages in my book Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz so this will be my last blog about it.
So I am actually go to talk more about my last blog post idea about the "Going to extremes to get what you want". So at the end of the book (SPOILER) it turns out that Force Three (read last blog for retell) was actually hired by the millionaire Nikolei Drevin to take the blame for (HUGE SPOILER ALERT) the space hotel Ark Angel come crashing down from space to Washington D.C killing thousands. So it turns out that Drevin was actually the evil person in the book.
Now, not only does this make me think about what these people would do even more but now I'm starting to think about how some people have this ability to hide in the shadows while somebody else takes the blame for something you actually did. And I despise these people that do that. To me when someone just sits there and watches another innocent person get punished it's just upsetting. How can someone live with this guilt lingerig over them.s
I'm not saying that Force Three was innocent but they didn't know what they were actually doing for Drevin until Drevin turned on them and shot them all. He would lie to everyone and say they were going to kill Drevin but he had to defend himself so he killed them. I was wrong in my last blog to write about hem going to extremities I should have wrote about Drevin because this is an even bigger example. this guy was just getting fame for doing bad and he allowed his bad deeds to reflect off of someone else. Kinda like when a kid at school gets in trouble for hurting someone else when that other person was instigating it.
What I'm really trying to say is that people shouldn't just sit back and get harmed just because of the promise of money fame or power.
It's time everyone stands up for themselves...

To think, or not to think, that is the question.
Well as all of Ms. Rears classes know. We are reading Romeo and Juliet, and I don't think that I need to give much of a retell, but to keep it short the main part to remember and thin about is the theme of Love. And how some children's love life is controlled completely by the parents. Juliet's mother and father both want her to marry someone that they like and someone that Juliet hadn't met before.
This made me think about today and how much has changed since then. In the present most of the kids today in the world (I know it's illegal to marry at this age in the U.S) don't get married at age 14, and most kids don't get into any serious relationships at that time of their life. When I think about this I always ask myself. What has changed so much that we look back and say "wow" to the old customs of the 15-16 hundreds. Now I'm not only talking about love but everything they did at that time period. Just the way they live and what they live in will surprise some people.
When we were watching the Bob Luhrmann version of Romeo and Juliet, almost everybody in the class was probably thinking "Wait they just met each other and they're kissing and telling one another how much they love each other?" But I'm guessing that's what actually happened back then. You have to keep in mind that nobody lived very long back then and at 13 your basically an adult.
All of this centered around the question. "What happened that everything changed so much" but ask yourself what you think. You already heard some stuff from me...
